Customer Transparency with

Broadband Labels

If you’re using automated provisioning via one of our partners, our provisioning dashboard gives you an overview of the status of the services on your network.

Broadband labels function as consumer-friendly informational tools that provide clear details about broadband services, such as speed, pricing, and contract terms. They are similar to nutrition labels on food products, making it easy for customers to understand and compare services.

How Broadband Labels are Created in Business Engine

Creating broadband labels can be time-consuming, but Business Engine has simplified and streamlined the process through automation.

Activation of Broadband Labels

Broadband Labels are activated by Customer Success (CS) staff or someone with developer-level access to the system.

Configuration by Operators or ISPs

Once activated, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or Operators can configure the data fields that will appear in the label. This includes:

  • Support contact details
  • Privacy policy (link to an external ISP-managed page)
  • Network management policy (link to an external ISP-managed page)
  • Discounts or promotions (link to an external ISP-managed page)
  • Standard latency for services
  • Typical download and upload speeds per service

Automation and Data Population

COS BE automatically populates the Broadband Labels with the following details:

  • Service name
  • Monthly price
  • Campaign price (if applicable), campaign price, duration, and standard post-campaign price
  • A link to the service’s terms and conditions (already stored in the system for the service)

Display on Marketplace

After configuration, the Broadband Labels are displayed directly on the Marketplace, providing transparency and clarity for subscribers.

This feature aligns with regulatory transparency standards and enhances the subscriber experience by offering detailed, accessible service information.
