Set

Take Rate Targets

The initial customer survey identifies which zones have the highest demand for fiber and where your most motivated potential customers are located. This crucial information helps you prioritize where to begin your network build-out, with those zones moving forward to the sign-up phase.

From our experience, demand can vary significantly even within the same community, city, or region, making this data invaluable.

At this stage, you set an individual take rate for each Service Zone goal for each Service Zone — the percentage of potential subscribers who are offered the service and actually sign up. While the target take rate can vary, it is generally advisable to aim for 30-40% of a neighborhood or zone to sign up before starting fiber construction. This ensures sufficient revenue generation to fund expansion into subsequent zones.
